The Peace & Acceptance Community meetings are a group of people who come together to share their desire to enjoy life with peace and acceptance following the death of their partner.
It is much more than a place to sit and tell your troubles, it is a place to meet people like yourself, be active in your journey to peace and acceptance and to learn from those who are different from you.
Meetings are online and anyone that has lost their partner is welcome to attend at no cost.

Here’s what others have said about these meetings:
“I joined the Peace and Acceptance Community because four years after losing my husband I was still struggling. Being a part of the community has been reassuring because everyone understands, without judgement, and I don’t feel so alone. The program topics are always meaningful, and through listening to other members of the community share, I’ve learned new ways of thinking about my loss, grief, and life which have opened me up to a little more healing and feeling lighter about my life going forward…one step at a time.”
Dawn C., La Verne, California, USA
“When I was completely lost in grief after the sudden death of my husband I came across The Peace & Acceptance Group community. I started joining the weekly meetings every Tuesday and, through this group, I found I was able to proactively start my healing journey by working the key steps, sharing experiences and receiving guidance from supportive people in a similar situation. This group has helped me carry my burden of grief and is giving me the strength to see hope in the future.”
– Viv R, UK Expat in Zeeland, The Netherlands
“There are many grief support groups out there, but The Peace and Acceptance community specifically drills down upon losing a life partner. With a step by step approach, this group has helped me understand that I can be an active participant in my healing. With empathic support, this group allows me to be vulnerable to all the feelings associated with loss, and holds up the very real possibility that I can rebuild my life, one moment at a time. Kudos to Mark Oborn for the way in which he wove together a beautiful tapestry of grounded hope and promise to a future, even in the face of a painful reality. ”
